Résumé
It was clear that a consistent effort to establish RBM in the main stream of government planning and management is needed. Several gaps need to be filled, including establishing a culture of evaluation in the region, evaluative research which apply research statistics with evaluation, building capacities knowledge and skills, increased awareness of emerging M&E trends and regional data sharing. The challenge of poorly harmonized and accessible data is significant, and high level and long term political commitment is needed, as well as a commitment to data sharing.
The CEI will be raising awareness for the need fo M&E including RBM, among governments as well as continuing to build capacity of its members through webinars and structured training.
