The main objective of this webinar is to introduce decision-makers and researchers to a new approach: Mapping Reviews and Evidence Gap Maps. This method is a form of evidence synthesis that aims to identify the current state of research and gaps within broader research questions, thereby supporting decision-making and scientific research. The webinar primarily consists of the following four parts:
1. Mapping Reviews: The Concept and Conducting Steps
2. How to write a high-quality mapping reviews report
3. Case Study 1: Treatment for Depression Among Adults: An Evidence and Gap Map of Systematic Reviews
4. Case Study 2: Map of Evidence and Gap Maps relating to Sustainable Development Goals

Yanfei Li, Liping Guo, Nina Dela Cruz Kehu Yang and his colleagues are methodological experts and authors in the field of mapping reviews and EGMs. They are currently leading an international project involving experts from 14 countries to develop reporting guidelines for mapping reviews, titled the Preferred Reporting Items for Mapping Reviews (PRITEM) project.
