The M&E Universe is a free resource of over 100 short papers on everything M&E, drawing on years of practitioner-focused, participatory learning and real world examples. Drawing on papers from the resource, we will discuss ethical and practice implication of AI: where is participation in AI evaluation - and who is being left out? Whose perspectives count in AI evaluation? Are our evaluation approaches unfit for complex AI systems?
