Navigating the Future of Evidence: The Alive Learning Forum for Equitable and Living Evaluation Systems

Webinar (em inglês) | Online

Sobre o evento

In an era of rapid information growth, traditional static evidence syntheses often become outdated within months. Living evidence—an emerging approach in which systematic reviews, guidelines, and other evidence outputs are continually updated as new evidence becomes available—offers a solution by ensuring that decision-makers have access to timely, relevant, and trustworthy evidence.

The Alliance for Living Evidence (Alive) was established to build stronger connections between decision-makers and evidence producers in getting to use the best available evidence to achieve real-world impact. The Alive Learning Forum (ALF) serves as a global knowledge exchange platform dedicated to advancing living evidence partnerships and strengthening learning across the evidence ecosystem. Through multilingual, live-translated monthly sessions, the ALF brings together stakeholders from different regions, sectors, and disciplines to share experiences, surface challenges, and co-create the future of living evidence.

The UNEG Evaluation Synthesis Working Group aims to enhance the quality, process, practice, and consistency of evaluation synthesis within the UN evaluation system by providing guidance, hosting regular exchanges and learning sessions, and engaging with the broader evidence synthesis community outside the UN.

This session is organized as part of the gLocal Evaluation Week event and aims to provide an opportunity to engage different audiences with living evidence and evaluation syntheses, reflecting on challenges and opportunities to produce and use living evidence and evaluation syntheses.
