In Balochistan, more than 20 government officials received training on evidence-based approaches to decision-making during a workshop co-led by the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Pakistan and Central Asia (CLEAR-PCA), an implementing partner of GEI.

The Global Evaluation Initiative (GEI) and the Center for Evidence-Based Social Science of Lanzhou University (CEBSS-LZU) have partnered to strengthen evaluation capacities in China and across the globe. As part of the collaboration, GEI is supporting CEBSS-LZU's lecture series on evaluation.

Planning and budgeting officers from across Tanzania participated in a training on gender equality and social inclusion planning and budgeting in July 2025. The Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Anglophone Africa, an implementing partner of GEI, delivered the training.

Over 100 participants from across Africa participated in the Summer School of Development Methodologies in Dakar, Senegal. The Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Francophone Africa (CLEAR-FA), a GEI implementing partner, provided technical and scientific coordination during the event.

In Guatemala, over 30 government employees participated in a policy design and design evaluation course led by the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Latin America and the Caribbean, the Government of Guatemala, and Inter-American Development Bank’s Office of Evaluation and Oversight.

Senior officials and commissioners from the Government of Tanzania participated in a four-day training on evaluation leadership, jointly organized by the Office of the Prime Minister and the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Anglophone Africa (CLEAR-AA), a GEI implementing partner.

More than 50 participants from across the globe participated in the International Program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET) at the University of Bern in Switzerland. This year marked the 24th anniversary of IPDET, GEI's flagship program for evaluation training.

Civil servants from the Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office, India’s apex body for monitoring and evaluation, explored evaluation processes and methodologies during a workshop series led by the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for South Asia, an implementing partner of GEI.

The Center of Learning on Evaluation and Results for Francophone Africa (CLEAR-FA) provided technical support during a training on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) attended by representatives from Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) countries in Francophone and Lusophone Africa.
