The International Program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET), an implementing partner of GEI, is launching a new training program on evaluating climate transitions. The Climate MEL Systems Academy will take place in July as part of IPDET's on-site program in Bern, Switzerland.

In Benin, the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Francophone Africa (CLEAR-FA), an implementing partner of GEI, helped develop a digital monitoring and evaluation system for the local government in Glazoué. Local officials learned to use the tool during a training led by CLEAR-FA.

From September to December 2025, the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Lusophone Africa and Brazil (CLEAR–LAB), an implementing partner of GEI, collaborated with Instituto Unibanco to train public education managers from four Brazilian states on using evidence in policy making.

The Centre for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Anglophone Africa, a GEI implementing partner, wrapped up 2025 with a series of trainings to strengthen equitable evaluation across Africa. As part of its campaign, CLEAR–AA will also release Volume 3 of its Equitable Evaluation series in 2026.

The International Program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET), GEI's flagship training program, launched its first regional training in Africa in November 2025. The program, which took place in Nairobi, brought together over 90 participants from 28 countries.
