About the Event
Trinidad and Tobago has made significant strides in strengthening its M&E ecosystem, including drafting a new National M&E Policy (NMEP) and enhancing coordination across ministries. However, challenges remain in standardizing M&E practices, increasing commitment and buy-in, and strengthening the use of evidence. This panel will discuss strategic actions for translating insights into action, ensuring sustainability, and overcoming implementation bottlenecks while exploring actions being taken to strengthen the country’s M&E system.

| Marissa Archibald | Implementation Coordinator | Marissa is a committed, process focused development practitioner with rich experience in implementing public sector interventions. She currently leads the Community of Practice in M&E for Trinidad and Tobago (COMETT). She has worked within the field of M&E in several government organisations in T&T. |
| Thania de la Garza | Evaluation Specialist, Caribbean Development Bank | With over a decade of experience, Thania has collaborated with international organizations such as the CDB, GEI, and the World Bank in designing and implementing M&E systems that strengthen accountability and inform decision making. She is also the former head of Mexico's CONEVAL. |
| Alonso M. de Erice Dominguez | Independent Consultant, Partner at GLOBALL-EVIDENCE FOR RESULTS | Alonso is a driven political economist who has worked on M&E capacity development with numerous international organizations including the FAO, IDB, World Bank Group, and CLEAR LAC.
