About the Event
This session creates a shared learning space for Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEEs) to examine how AI can practically support evaluation from data collection and analysis to communicating findings - while upholding rigor, credibility, and ethical standards. We will exchange YEEs experiences from across Asia region, reflect on responsible AI use, and learn how to integrate AI tools without compromising credibility, transparency, or public trust. Together, we strengthen evaluation practice for a rapidly changing world.

| Uugantsetseg Gonchigdorj | Former Co-Leader of EvalYouth Asia; Independent Evaluator | Uugantsetseg Gonchigdorj is an independent evaluator and consultant with a background in sociology. She specializes in programme evaluation at the intersection of policy, systems, and institutional learning across diverse development sectors. She has contributed to evaluation networks including EvalYouth Asia, EvalYouth Mongolia, and the Mongolian Evaluation Association (2023–2025). |
| Dheni Fidiyahfika | Co-Leader of EvalYouth Indonesia; MEAL Coordinator for Oxfam in Asia | Dheni Fidiyahfika is a MEAL Specialist with over 12 years of experience in the development and humanitarian sectors. She currently serves as MEAL Coordinator for Oxfam in Asia, leading evidence-based and multi-country programs that advance women’s local humanitarian leadership. Dheni also serves as Co-Leader of EvalYouth Indonesia, strengthening youth-led and inclusive evaluation practice. |
| Jigme Sonam | Co-Leader of EvalYouth Asia; Vice President of APEA | Jigme Sonam is a Sustainable Development Manager at Terrama, with experience in environmental management, climate action, carbon markets, sustainable finance, responsible reporting, social impact, and M&E. He also serves on the Board of the Evaluation Association of Bhutan, co-leads EvalYouth Bhutan and EvalYouth Asia, and as an Executive Committee Member for the Bhutan Australia Awards Alumni Association (BAAA). His work focuses on sustainability, carbon markets, environmental research, climate policy, and strengthening monitoring, evaluation, and learning to support inclusive and resilient development |
| Pratik Jawale | Co-Leader of EvalYouth Asia | Pratik is a young and emerging evaluator working as Senior Manager - Monitoring and Evaluation with Magic Bus India Foundation. Pratik has grassroots experience with government and non-profit organizations in rural and tribal regions of India. He specializes in mixed methods research, including field-based data collection and survey methods. He is interested in understanding how organizations use digital technologies within their M&E systems. He has also taken trainings on PoSH and child rights. Pratik also serves as the co-leader of EvalYouth India & EvalYouth Asia, a network of YEEs in India, and is an active member of the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association. |

She holds a Master’s degree in Marketing Management and certifications in Theory of Change and Design Thinking. She has a strong commitment to advancing evidence-based learning for social, economic, and environmental impact. Beyond her institutional role, Monica also serves as Co-Leader of EvalYouth Asia and Technical Advisor to EvalYouth Indonesia to strengthen the leadership, visibility, and professional development of YEEs at both regional and national levels. |
