EvalYouth Pakistan is proposing an event on the convergence of Evaluation and Artificial Intelligence (AI). EvalYouth Pakistan, in collaboration with the GEI, hosted a webinar during gLocal Youth in Evaluation Week on AI and Evaluation. Waseem and Salman facilitated the webinar and starte with an introduction to EvalYouth Pakistan’s mission to empower young evaluators. The keynote by Nazir Ul Haq, MEAL Manager at Global Coffee Platform, explored AI’s impact on evaluation, highlighting its potential to enhance data analysis while cautioning against ethical challenges like algorithmic bias. He discussed how AI can assist young and emerging evaluators in developing evaluation's TORs, report and perform certain analysis to improve evaluations. The event concluded with a Q&A, emphasizing the need for ongoing dialogue and research on AI in evaluation.
