Sobre o evento
The Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR) Engagement Indexes were developed and introduced since 2021 as simple, participatory tools to measure stakeholder engagement and network dynamics in diverse project settings. Designed to integrate qualitative, quantitative, and participatory methodologies, the Stakeholders Engagement Index and the Network Engagement Index provide an accessible and adaptable framework for capturing engagement dynamics. These tools have been applied across projects, supporting both external stakeholder evaluation and internal organisational assessments. . Be ready for an interactive session. Resumo
We were pleased to host a session introducing the Engagement Indices—a participatory approach to measuring collaboration and engagement across networks. A total of 21 participants joined us live, primarily from the development sector, despite a much larger number having registered.
Throughout the session, we observed genuine curiosity and interest. Around 6 to 8 participants actively contributed through thoughtful questions and reflections, helping to enrich the conversation.
While many attendees remained engaged for most of the presentation, we noted a drop in participation around the 45-minute mark, just before the start of the interactive segment. This suggests future sessions might benefit from a more condensed format or earlier opportunities for direct engagement.
We are grateful to all who attended and contributed, and we look forward to continuing this dialogue. If you were unable to participate fully or would like to explore the tool in greater depth, we’re happy to provide follow-up materials or discuss potential collaboration.
Thank you again for your time and interest—the exchange of ideas is essential as we continue refining tools that aim to support meaningful, inclusive learning and partnerships. Please contact us at cecilia.ruberto@iwpr.net
We look forward to following up with participants who expressed particular interest during the session. We're eager to connect, exchange ideas, and continue improving the approach by learning from peers and seeing how the Engagement Indices might be applied in diverse contexts.
We also intend to stay actively engaged with the GEI and Glocal communities, which provide a valuable space for constructive exchange and shared learning.
A heartfelt thank you to the organisers—we truly appreciate your support and the initiative in making this session possible.
