From Training to Transformation: Evaluating Agricultural Practices Adoption in Mozambique’s Smallholder Farmers

Webinar (em inglês) | Online

Sobre o evento

Good Agricultural Practices adoption was evaluated among smallholder farmers in Mozambique after their participation in Farmer Field Schools (FFSs). While FFSs are widely used to promote sustainable farming, limited evidence exists on their long-term effectiveness. This evaluation combined field verification, knowledge assessments, and perception surveys to measure actual adoption rates, knowledge retention, and influencing factors. Crucially, the study generated key learning on the barriers to sustained practice adoption, highlighting the importance of integrating robust evaluation into agricultural extension models.
