Francophone Africa hosted 40 events during Glocal 2025. The Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Francophone Africa (CLEAR-FA), GEI's regional partner, hosted webinars on evaluating climate policies, integrating gender into evaluations, and women’s leadership in evaluation.

In Central Asia, Glocal Evaluation Week 2025 featured 13 knowledge-sharing events. The Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Pakistan and Central Asia, an implementing partner of GEI, led discussions examining inclusion across linguistic, methodological, and systemic dimensions.

In Brazil and Lusophone Africa, Glocal Evaluation Week 2025 featured 36 events on diverse topics including climate action through rapid evaluation, institutionalizing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) in public policy, and strengthening M&E capacities in the region.

Glocal Evaluation Week 2025 made history as the first Glocal edition to launch both globally and regionally. After a global opening session on May 27, regional launch events followed in South Asia, Africa, Central Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Dominican Republic’s vice minister of planning met with representatives from the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Latin America and the Caribbean in Chile to review progress and reaffirm collaboration on strengthening national monitoring and evaluation capacities.

The Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Latin America and the Caribbean (CLEAR-LAC), an implementing partner of GEI, facilitated a bilateral exchange between government officials from Ecuador and Chile. The meeting focused on strengthening national monitoring and evaluation systems.

The International Index of Evaluation Capacities (INCE), a tool for assessing evaluation capacities, has expanded beyond Latin America. In May 2025, Mongolia held its first INCE workshop, drawing over 400 participants from government, civil society, academia, and the private sector.

In Abidjan, members of parliament and senators attended a workshop on how artificial intelligence (AI) can support public policy evaluation. The event was organized by the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Francophone Africa (CLEAR-FA), an implementing partner of GEI.

Guatemala continues to strengthen its national evaluation system with ongoing support from the Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Latin America and the Caribbean (CLEAR-LAC), GEI's implementing partner in the region.
