How to integrate Gender & Youth Data in Food Security & Nutrition Programs

Webinar

About the Event

Inclusive food security and nutrition programs require understanding the unique challenges facing different populations. Women make up 60% of the global food-insecure population, often eating last and least, while youth face long-term health and economic impacts from inadequate nutrition. This presentation introduces a vital resource for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners on integrating gender and youth considerations in food security and nutrition interventions by providing a framework on how evidence-based approaches can address these disparities and enhance program effectiveness.
This presentation introduces a framework for integrating gender and youth considerations into food security and nutrition interventions. It provides a structured approach to understanding gender norms, youth inclusion, and their impact on access to resources and decision-making. Attendees will gain insights backed by global research and data, covering evidence collection, disaggregated data analysis, and key gender and youth indicators. Finally, we translate data insights into actionable strategies. Attendees will learn how to use evidence for effective program design, ensuring gender- and youth-responsive interventions, and have real-world case studies to illustrate successful applications.
