À propos de l'événement
The EvalforEarth Community of Practice (CoP) on evaluation for food security, environment, agriculture, and rural development was launched in March 2025, merging two longstanding evaluation communities: EvalForward and Earth-Eval.
EvalforEarth is built upon a strong partnership among the evaluation offices of FAO, WFP, CGIAR, and the GEF, united by a shared commitment to fostering knowledge sharing among evaluators and M&E professionals globally.
In alignment with the spirit of communities of practice, this EvalforEarth gLOCAL 2025 session invites members to share experiences and research, contributing to the overarching themes of sustainability, efficiency, and growth. The session will feature up to three presentations selected via an open call, to be announced through the CoP in the coming weeks. Priority will be given to young and emerging evaluators from the Global South, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their work to an international audience.
Presentations will address the central question: "How can evaluation evolve to meet future needs for sustainability, efficiency, and growth?"
Speakers will highlight practical experiences, innovative solutions, methods, or approaches through case studies, making the shared knowledge easily accessible to CoP members and event participants.
The session will be moderated by Innocent Chamisa, EvalforEarth CoP Facilitator.
