A/B testing, widely used in tech for product optimization, is now gaining traction in the social sector for rapid, robust evaluations. MEL teams can leverage A/B testing to assess and refine interventions effectively and cost-efficiently. This Master Class explores its initial application in a large-scale school education program, sharing Pratham’s motivations, approach, and key learnings from early A/B Testing rounds. Participants will see how A/B testing enhances program impact, identifying what works and fostering data-driven decisions.

Banishwar Singh Manager - Measurement, Monitoring and Evaluation (MME) Banishwar designs MEL and frameworks for large-scale education programs across multiple states. His core area of focus is Early years. Under the WWH project, he supports all MEL activities, including implementing the AB testing conducted as part of the research study.
Karthik Menon Lead - Operations, Government Partnerships (Elementary) Karthik supports Pratham's large-scale government partnership programs, focussed specifically on Teaching at the Right Level implementation. Previously, with the MME team, he supported program operations effectively and efficiently by using data to design programs and gauge their impact.
