Sobre el evento

Education systems are increasingly expected to respond to some of the most pressing global challenges of our time—climate change, growing social inequality, and rising polarization in societies. Schools are no longer only sites of academic learning; they are critical spaces where future citizens develop the values, skills, and responsibilities needed to build sustainable, inclusive, and peaceful societies.
This flagship session will explore the role of evaluation in assessing how education systems contribute to environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and peacebuilding. Drawing on experiences from school evaluation practice, policy research, and global development initiatives, the discussion will examine how evaluators can generate credible evidence on whether schools are preparing students to engage responsibly with complex global challenges.
