Sobre el evento

Digital tools for agriculture (D4AG) are growing across Sub-Saharan Africa, with potential to improve smallholder livelihoods and advance gender equality, yet challenges remain. From Jan–June 2024, IDinsight explored research gaps around D4AG with IDRC, and later, with Care International in Mali, studied the practical example of SIMAGRI—an agricultural digital platform being implemented in Mali—to assess its impact on women and youth. Our session investigates the role of D4AG tools, highlights key findings, and offers practical recommendations to enhance D4AG effectiveness and inclusivity.
